Sport and Fitness Diplomas Online
A unique partnership of sport science and the Internet sees the launch this week of internationally recognised fitness diplomas.
Brisbane based FitNance Online, working with CBL Global Corporation, provides certificates and online diplomas in sport, fitness and well-being.
Students signing up for the FitNance Online courses gain competency in a wide variety of commercial fitness applications and are provided with a comprehensive foundation in the fundamentals of sports performance, fitness and health.
The courses can be tailor made to requirements - whether for someone starting out in the fitness business, or for those working at the advance levels of athletic training.
The courses have been created by fitness experts Steve Nance and Dr. Markus Deutsch.
Steve Nance has 15 years experience working with professional sporting teams and as one of Australia's leading strength and conditioning experts. He has helped several of Australia's finest sporting teams to success, including the Brisbane Broncos and the 1999 Rugby World Cup winning Wallabies.
Dr. Markus Deutsch of Fusion Sport uses his experience in sport science and applies this to fitness training and techniques, along with advanced exercise biochemistry and physiology courses. He was head hunted for 10 years by the New Zealand All Blacks and Rugby Football Union Super 12 rugby franchises.
CBL Global Corporation is an international provider of formal online and workplace competency based education courses.
The first certificate taken by students is the core component of all FitNance Online Diplomas and is a prerequisite for additional certificates.
The courses offer an entry-level into the health industry, with a diploma in wellness focusing on personal, occupational and corporate health, injury rehabilitation and/or weight loss programmes. It incorporates the basic principles of nutrition and exercise, strength and resistance training, motivation, stress management, weight loss and circuit training.
NOTE: All media are invited to the launch of the FitNance Online Diplomas this Thursday May 1, 2003 at 11am at the Brisbane Broncos League Club (Fulcher Road, Red Hill).
